Hot-dip galvanizing is the
process of applying a zinc coating to fabricated steel items by immersing them
in a bath consisting primarily of molten zinc.
It is a factory controlled process (round-the clock capability) that
provides corrosion resistance as well as cathodic protection to the base steel.
